Identity checks are included. The 12-day or 5-day timescale starts when your form, documents and payment are complete. Apostilles, translations and couriers cost extra unless we confirm them first.
Priority
Report within 5 days of a complete application.

Start Priority applicationHow the fee is calculated
Both options are one payment. The identity review is the same. Priority costs £10 more because the application is placed in the faster queue. You choose the option before you open the form and you cannot change it after you submit.

- A reference number when the application is accepted
- Issuance of the report and email delivery to you
Not included unless confirmed in writing
- Apostille or legalisation
- Certified translation
- Printed copies and courier
- A national police certificate that a visa post names instead of an ICRR
If documents are returned
The timescale does not run while we wait for a clearer upload. If we cannot complete identity checks, we will tell you. After a report has been issued, the fee is not refunded because you later choose not to use the document.
